We are pleased to formally announce the appointment of Professor Michał Szostak as the Vice-Rector for Scientific Research at Collegium Civitas. Professor Szostak also serves as the Head of the Institute for Management Research at Collegium Civitas and holds the position of Associate Professor (Doctor habilitated) specializing in management within the realm of social sciences.

Professor Michał Szostak achieved the degree of habilitated doctor in the field of social sciences in early April 2024. His seminal work, the monograph entitled “Humanistic Management, Organization, and Aesthetics: The Art of Management and Management of Art“, stands as a cornerstone achievement in his habilitation procedure. Published by the esteemed British multinational publisher Routledge, this book represents the world’s pioneering comprehensive exploration of a nuanced theory regarding the aesthetics of management within humanistic management. Professor Szostak’s groundbreaking work employs an aesthetic and artistic approach, providing a systematic understanding of the intricacies surrounding the art of management and the management of artistic phenomena.

We also extend our sincere appreciation to Dr. Katarzyna Iwińska for her dedicated service spanning over 11 years at Collegium Civitas. Her invaluable contributions have played a pivotal role in advancing the academic mission of our institution, and we are deeply grateful for her steadfast commitment and expertise in her role as Vice-Rector for Scientific Research.
