W dniach 25 czerwca – 1 lipca w Melbourne w Australii odbył się 20. Światowy Kongres Socjologii ISA (ISA World Congress of Sociology).

Collegium Civitas reprezentowali dr Katarzyna Iwińska, dr Marek Troszyński oraz dr dr Roland Zarzycki. Ponadto dr Jacek Bieliński był współautorem referatu wygłoszonego podczas Kongresu. 

Nasi wykładowcy zaprezentowali referaty dotyczące prowadzonych przez nich badań: 

• Dr Katarzyna Iwińska (współautor: dr Jacek Bieliński): „You Can be Eco-Friendly but Not at Your Own Expense – Underlying the Fundamental Factors of Private-Sphere Pro-Environmental Behaviour in 5 European Countries”, podczas sesji: New research in environmental attitudes, values, behaviours and practices, w ramach grupy roboczej Environment and Society. 
• Dr Marek Troszyński: „Refugees, Immigrants and Invaders. How the Language We Talk about Migrants Is Changing” w grupie roboczej The Interplay of Language, Migration and Mobility: Polityka i Praktyka. 

• Dr dr Roland Zarzycki: „Transformations of Capital, Justification and Rationalization Structures” podczas Dynamics of Capitals and Social Inequality from the Rational Choice Perspective oraz „The Strategies of Pretense and Disguise As Norm-Destabilizing Factors” podczas sesji Evolution of Social Norms and Cooperation.
