Entry requirements for transfer students:

REGULATION OF THE RECTOR OF COLLEGIUM CIVITAS 12G/2023 of 31 March 2023 on the admissions conditions and process for transferring from other universities to the Undergraduate (Bachelor) programme in Journalism and New Media, Sociology, International Relations and Management and Postgraduate (Master) programme in Sociology International Relations and Management at Collegium Civitas in the academic year 2023/2024

The decisions on admitting a transfer student are made by the Collegium Civitas Admission Committee after receiving an opinion issued by the department representative taking into account the following criteria:

    1. the candidate’s grade point average from the programme of study
    2. the number of courses to be complemented due to curricular differences and the possibility of completing them in the subsequent semesters of study
    3. the submission of all documents required to enrol in the given type and programme of study
    4. meeting the conditions of admissions applicable at the university
    5. the submission of a document certifying the course of study (the so-called transcript of records), i.e. a description of the course of study issued by the university and containing:

– information on semesters credited (e.g. semester one – credited)
– course name
– number of hours
– number of ECTS credits
– grade obtained in the course

  1. students of international universities shall submit a translation of the course of study in Polish, made by a sworn translator entered into the register of sworn translators and interpreters maintained by the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Poland
  2. a student may transfer from another university, if their previous programme curriculum was similar to that of Collegium Civitas. Annex No. 1 defines related degree programmes for which a transfer to a specific degree programme is possible
  3. a student may transfer from another university, if they obtained credit for at least the first semester (a credited semester means no conditional enrolments or examination retakes)
  4. the student has submitted a statement that they had met all obligations arising from the regulations applicable at the university they are leaving
  5. the programme curriculum of the Student aligns with learning outcomes at Collegium Civitas
  6. there are no admissions to the third year of the first-cycle programme or the second year of the second-cycle programme (neither full-time nor part-time).
