We are proud to announce the launch of the Centre for Diplomacy and Negotiation (CDN) at Collegium Civitas. This strategic initiative addresses the growing unpredictability in the global landscape of security and international relations.

Guided by principles of freedom, international law, human rights, and the pursuit of peaceful relations, the CDN facilitates expert analysis, education, and opinion-forming activities. It serves as a dynamic platform for dialogue, bringing together experts, officials, politicians, and NGO leaders to navigate emerging arenas of state disputes and support diplomatic efforts.

Heading the Centre is Mr. Marcin Bużański, an experienced political scientist. With a rich background in the United Nations, specializing in political transitions, conflict analysis, peace processes, mediation, and post-conflict governance, Mr. Bużański brings a wealth of expertise to the CDN.

The Centre’s core initiatives encompass modelling and analysing international negotiation processes, examining conflicts, reforming international institutions, and building a global network of leaders and experts. Through these endeavours, the CDN aims to foster dialogue, adapt public policies to contemporary challenges in international relations, and position Poland as a key player on the global stage.

In collaboration with universities, research institutes, international organizations, and various sectors, the CDN is poised to make a significant impact in shaping the future of diplomacy and negotiation. We look forward to the positive contributions the Centre will make to global dialogue and understanding.
