Dr. Maranowski at University of Mataram

In August 2023 Dr. Paweł Maranowski, Vice-Rector for Student Affairs, visited the University of Mataram, Lombok, Indonesia. He held a series of lectures and participated in a public seminar open for all students on intercultural communication as well as conducted sociological research in cooperation with colleagues at the University of Mataram. 

Dr. Maranowski has visited Mataram within the framework of the European Union funded project “University 4.0 – modern development program of Collegium Civitas”.  

“The visit was very fruitful. I am glad that Collegium Civitas is strengthening the cooperation with the University of Mataram, both: in teaching and research” – says Dr. Maranowski.   “I was happy to see Collegium Civitas graduate Mrs. Mega Nisfa Makhroja as moderator of the open lecture. Mrs. Nisfa Makhroja is pursuing her career in academia at the University of Mataram” – explains Dr. Maranowski.  

Collegium Civitas signed a Memorandum of Agreement with the University of Mataram in January 2023. The University of Mataram is a public university located in West Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia established in 1962 that has been recently actively developing international collaboration and studies in English. The visit by Dr. Maranowski is a step towards enhanced cooperation between our institutions.   

Collegium Civitas is a modern non-state University founded in 1997 by a joint initiative of Professors from the Polish Academy of Sciences. The quality of education in all fields of study is confirmed by positive assessments by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education and the Polish Accreditation Committee. The University has over 100 agreements with partner universities from around the world.
