Rafał Trzaskowski, Collegium Civitas lecturer in the second round of presidential elections

Dr. Rafał Trzaskowski, Collegium Civitas lecturer since 2002, entered the second round of the presidential elections in Poland. The current Mayor of Warsaw received - according to exit polls -  30,4% and if this result will be confirmed in the official statement by the Polish Electoral Commission he will face the incumbent President Andrzej Duda in the second round of presidential elections on July 12, 2020. Congratulations!

Collegium Civitas is the first Polish university to sign a Memorandum of Understanding with the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR). Security and Society Summer School goes online!

Security and Society Summer School goes online!

On-line Summer School at Collegium Civitas will be held between July 13 and August 24. The program is composed of two parts: coursework and research internship. Among the topics: hybrid threats, terrorism, COVID-19, cybersecurity, risk management. In result of the program a book will be published containing research papers written by the participants. We invite students with good command of English and strong interest in security issues to apply by June 20.

Security Studies at Collegium Civitas

International Security Studies (ISS) are a specialization under International Relations master’s degree program. ISS, run under the auspices of the Terrorism Research Center, is designed to train future leaders in the field of security. The students will take a close look at various aspects of security, incl. terrorism, cybersecurity, transnational crime, hybrid threats, environmental challenges and the implications of COVID-19 outbreak for international security. During the studies participants will work on their own research papers which will be published!
