Zoon Politikon – call for papers

The editors of the scientific yearbook "Zoon Politikon", published by Collegium Civitas, invite you to submit articles for the journal issue 15/2024. The topic of the following year's volume will be the broadly understood subject of gender. Deadline for submitting texts: November 30, 2023.

We are happy to announce a call for papers for a conference concerning the vulnerability of migrants and intersectionality in the context of migration. We invite social researchers representing various methodological approaches. The conference will be interdisciplinary. Deadline for abstract submission: 15 November 2023.

Peace Review: Call for Papers

We kindly invite Collegium Civitas experts, lecturers, and students to submit articles for the special edition of “Peace Review” focused on the Russo-Ukrainian War/Russian aggression against Ukraine. The submission deadline is October, 15.

Experts’ strategies against fake news

The seminar “Experts’ strategies against fake news” will take place on October 13, 2023, at 9:00 at the Centre de civilisation française et d’études francophones of Warsaw University, 55 Dobra Street, room 2.118. The German Embassy, the French Embassy, and the University of Warsaw are organizing the event. Collegium Civitas students are invited to participate in the seminar.

THE INAUGURATION CEREMONY OF THE 2023/2024 ACADEMIC YEAR

The Rector of Collegium Civitas Prof. Stanisław Mocek and the President of Collegium Civitas Prof. Jadwiga Koralewicz cordially invite the whole academic community of Collegium Civitas to the Inauguration Ceremony of the 2023/2024 Academic Year. The inauguration will be held on the 2nd of October at 6 PM in the Concert Hall of the Palace of Culture and Science (6th floor).

Adaptation Days

During the meetings, you will have the opportunity to meet the University's Rector's Team and talk to the representatives of various administration departments and people cooperating within student organizations and initiatives. You can also participate in workshops devoted to efficient intercultural communication and on the weekend we invite you on a walking tour around Warsaw.

Collegium Civitas students are invited to apply to an "International Immersion Camp: Green Energy and Eco-tourism 2023" organized by our partner university State Polytechnic of Malang in Indonesia. Nomination deadline is August 11.

The webinar aims to discuss the concept of true leadership and its significance in addressing the Russian aggression in Ukraine. The panelists will analyze the qualities and characteristics of effective leaders in such challenging circumstances. Additionally, the role of citizens, including youth, in transforming the conflict will be explored.

This exciting event is organized as part of the Youth Solidarity project, a collaborative initiative led by the Ukrainian Leadership Academy, Peace Action, Training and Research Institute of Romania (PATRIR), the Italian-based humanitarian organization Un Ponte Per (UPP), and our esteemed lecturer, Katarzyna A.
