International Diamonds Scholarship

Collegium Civitas has established the International Diamonds Scholarship Program for the studies in English. There are a total of six places with covered tuition for the first semester of studies 2023/2024 conducted in English at our university: three for bachelor’s degree programs and  three for master’s degree programs. International candidates interested in the scholarship should apply no later than by June 15.

Ukrainian Academy of Leadership visits Collegium Civitas

In April, Collegium Civitas had the pleasure of hosting a group of sixty-six young Ukrainians participating in the Ukrainian Academy of Leadership program. This visit was part of their broader European journey, organized under the leadership of Katarzyna Anna Przybyła, Collegium Civitas lecturer in collaboration with the Ukrainian Leadership Academy, Romanian Peace Institute PATRIR, and Un Ponte Per, an Italian-based humanitarian organization.

New publication by Dr El Ghamari

Palgrave Macmillan has published a book “Conflict and Post-Conflict Governance in the Middle East and Africa,” which includes a chapter written by Dr Magdalena El Ghamari, Collegium Civitas lecturer specializing in the analyses of the relationship between socio-religious and political factors, as well as policymakers. Dr El Ghamari focuses her work on the field of peacekeeping and conflicts in the MENA region.

Sharing experience in internationalization

In April 2023 the 11th edition of the training  “Internationalization of Higher Education” was held. The programme is organized by Collegium Civitas in cooperation with the Center for Polish Education in Kiev. Since 2018 over 1000 faculty members from Ukrainian higher education institutions have participated in the programme.

As part of their research project on China, soft power, and environmental issues, Dr Agnieszka Nitza-Makowska and Dr Kerry Longhurst carried out a research trip to the US in February to meet with experts and analysts at think tanks: Council on Foreign Relations, Asia Society in NY and Wilson Center, Center for Strategic and International Studies in Washington, DC.
