Dr Rafał Trzaskowski, lecturer at Collegium Civitas since 2002, won the first round of elections for the Mayor of Warsaw according to exit polls. These give him over 54% of total votes, an absolute majority, thereby securing an unprecedented victory in the first round.

On 17 September the European Commission invited Polish non-governmental organisations to take part in a knowledge-sharing workshop on the European Citizens’ Initiative. This year for the Summer School program our university hosted over 60 students from the U.S. for six thematic courses devoted to security, criminology, cybersecurity, history and cultural diversity. The course “Crime & Punishment in Central/Eastern Europe” was the first criminology course organized at Collegium Civitas.
