Collegium Civitas signed a Memorandum of Collaboration and an Agreement of Student Exchange with Kyungpook National University in South Korea.

You are cordially invited to participate in a series of lectures on marketing, small business and banking system held on 5-8 of November at Collegium Civitas by lecturers from the Academy of Labour, Social Relations and Tourism in Kiev.

Collegium Civitas hosted the delegation from the Manizales University. During the visit the universities signed the Memorandum of Understanding on academic collaboration.

Dr Rafał Trzaskowski, lecturer at Collegium Civitas since 2002, won the first round of elections for the Mayor of Warsaw according to exit polls. These give him over 54% of total votes, an absolute majority, thereby securing an unprecedented victory in the first round.

“We, the people: Political, media and popular discourses of 'us' and 'them'” is an event held on 26-27 October by the Department of Media and Communications of the London School of Economics. Collegium Civitas will be represented by our Rector Prof. Stanisław Mocek and Dr Marek Troszyński.

On October 1, 2018 Collegium Civitas (CC) inaugurated the new academic year. The first-year students took the oath, and the best graduates received diplomas with honors.

On 14 September 2018, fourteen historians, philosophers, sociologists and other social scientists, came together for a symposium on history and post-truth at Collegium Civitas University in Warsaw.

On 17 September the European Commission invited Polish non-governmental organisations to take part in a knowledge-sharing workshop on the European Citizens’ Initiative. The event was organized as part of the “Take the Initiative” project. One of the experts and moderators was Dr Roland Zarzycki, the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs at Collegium Civitas.

This year for the Summer School program our university hosted over 60 students from the U.S. for six thematic courses devoted to security, criminology, cybersecurity, history and cultural diversity. The course “Crime & Punishment in Central/Eastern Europe” was the first criminology course organized at Collegium Civitas.
