From April 21st to 28th, Dr. Jarosław Marek Spychała, a lecturer at Collegium Civitas, undertook his second Erasmus program visit to the Universitat Abat Oliba CEU in Barcelona. The university, established in 1973 as the Universitat Abat Oliba CEU, is a private institution.

The UAO CEU comprises three faculties: the Faculty of Law and Business, the Faculty of Communication, Education and Humanities, and the Faculty of Psychology. It offers undergraduate, master’s, and postgraduate degrees in various fields, including Communication, Law and Political Science, Education, Business and Economics, Humanities, and Psychology.

During his visit, Dr. Spychała conducted two courses comprising workshops and lectures: “The Ancient Roots of Artificial Intelligence”  and “Artificial Intelligence and Social Capital”. The insights gained from these classes will enhance the curriculum of Dr. Spychała’s upcoming courses in the 2024/2025 academic year.

In the upcoming year, the first students from both universities, Collegium Civitas and the Universitat Abat Oliba CEU will participate in exchanges within the framework of the Erasmus program.
