COVID-19: Gradual lifting the coronavirus restrictions in Poland

On April 28 the Prime Minister announced lifting covid-19 restrictions which will be introduced in Poland starting on Saturday, May 1.

Changes to the safety rules from May 1:

  • Opening the outdoor fields, courts, etc. – amateur outdoor sport resumed
  • Opening the swimming pools for organized groups of minors

Changes to the safety rules from May 4:

  • Opening the stores in shopping malls
  • Opening the art galleries and museums
  • Opening furniture stores and hardware stores

Changes to the safety rules from May 8:

  • Opening the hotels under the strict sanitary regime (50% of available rooms, meals only served in rooms, at guests’ request. Hotel restaurants – closed).

Changes to the safety rules from May 15:

  • Lifting the obligation to cover the mouth and nose in an open space
  • Restaurants and bars will be allowed to offer outdoor dining
  • Outdoor events, including weddings, will be allowed (maximum 25 guests)
  • Outdoor sports events can receive spectators (maximum 25% capacity)

Changes to the safety rules from May 29:

  • Opening restaurants and bars
  • Opening cinemas and theatres
  • Opening gyms, fitness clubs
  • Opening swimming pools
  • Indoor events, including weddings, will be allowed (maximum 50 guests)

Prime Minister added that all children would be able to return to school by the end of the month.
