Covid-19: new nationwide restrictions

On March 25 the Minister of Health announced new Covid-19 related restrictions which will be introduced in Poland as of Saturday, March 27, and will apply for two weeks until April 9.

Changes to the safety rules as of March 27:

  • in stores with an area of less than 100 square meters, the limit is 1 person per 15 square meters, in larger stores – 1 person per 20 square meters
  • sport facilities will be open only to professional athletes
  • hairdressers and beauty parlours will be closed
  • in churches and other places of religious worship – the limit is 1 person per 20 square meters
  • furniture stores and hardware  stores (larger than 2,000 square meters) will be closed
  • nurseries and kindergartens will be closed. Child care facilities will be open to members of medical services only

If possible, it is advised to work from home and to spend the Easter time only with the closest relatives.

Please note that the restrictions introduced earlier are also in place. Remember to cover your mouth and nose with medical mask or cloth mask in public places (incl. outdoors) at all times!
