The European Commission selected Collegium Civitas as one of the Erasmus Without Papers (EWP) Champions. The EWP Champions is an important initiative to work with the European Commission (EC) on shaping the discussions and developments around EWP in the European higher education community.

“The selection of your institution is a testament to the unwavering commitment you and your colleagues have shown to advancing digital management of Erasmus+ student mobility during a challenging transition period. As a result, you have acquired a high level of experience and expertise that we believe can help other higher education institutions to further progress and improve EWP in the future. We are truly inspired by your efforts and thankful for your dedication.” – the EC wrote in the official letter addressed to Collegium Civitas.

From Poland only two institutions were recognized as EWP Champions: Collegium Civitas and Adam Mickiewicz University from Poznań.

EWP is a digital solution for higher education institutions to connect their Erasmus+ mobility management systems so they can manage their mobility students online. The EC sought institutions implementing EWP to become visible champions at the EU level, recognised as change leaders and inspiring others. Collegium Civitas submitted its application underlining that the implementation of EWP is aligned with our strategy to go digital and go green. EWP is fully compatible with the policy pursued by Collegium Civitas. For several years, Collegium Civitas has been implementing systemic ‘green’ solutions in our day-to-day work and promoting sustainable development – digitalization of our processes has proved to be an ally in pursuing these goals.
