Rector of Collegium Civitas, Professor Stanisław Mocek, along with other representatives of the university, has joined the Expert Team for Internationalization Strategy under the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education (MNiSW). This team will play a key advisory role in crafting strategies for the internationalization of higher education and science. The expert group also includes Dr. Katarzyna Maniszewska, Vice-Rector for International Relations at Collegium Civitas, and Professor Małgorzata Baran, Head of the Management Department at CC.

Professor Stanisław Mocek, the Rector of Collegium Civitas, emphasized the significance of this initiative:

“The involvement of representatives from the Conference of Rectors of Non-Public Academic Universities and Collegium Civitas, collaborating as experts under the auspices of NAWA and MNiSW to formulate the Strategy for the Internationalization of Higher Education and Science, highlights the recognition of non-public universities as leaders in internationalization within Poland and abroad.”

The Expert Team for Internationalization Strategy will cover a range of topics, including student mobility, education internationalization, researcher mobility (including doctoral students and faculty), science internationalization, and science diplomacy. At the inaugural meeting of the Expert Team on January 31, 2024, key objectives and action plans were discussed to enhance the quality of research and education in Poland and strengthen the international reputation of Polish science.
