On the 6th of January 2023, Routledge published a book “Global India. The Pursuit of Influence and Status” that includes a chapter – “India and the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor” written by Dr Agnieszka Nitza-Makowska, one of Collegium Civitas lecturers.

This chapter analyzes the implications of the flagship part of China’s Belt and Road Initiative, particularly the stretching across Pakistan China-Pakistani Economic Corridor, for India and its desired identity as a great emerging power. Will ‘Global India’ arise beyond the massive, unprecedented and attractive, especially for developing countries, project of its rival? The chapter addresses this question using various sources, including interviews with Indian experts
