Between 20 and 24 of March 2023 Collegium Civitas was visited by Prof. Madina Kenzhegaranova from SDU university, Kazakhstan. The visit was organized under the Erasmus+ programme. Prof. Kenzhegaranova conducted a series of lectures on negotiations and intercultural management.

Between 13 and 16 of March 2023 Collegium Civitas was visited by Prof. Halim Nezihoglu from SDU university, Kazakhstan. The visit was organized under the Erasmus+ programme. At Collegium Civitas Prof. Nezihoglu conducted classes on the geopolitics in Central Asia and issues relating to migrations.

The third issue of the biannual journal “Terrorism – studies, analyses, prevention” published by the Polish Internal Security Agency is available online. Among the members of the Academic Editor Board of the journal is Dr Paulina Piasecka, Director of the Terrorism Research Center (TRC), and the reviewers team includes Dr Katarzyna Maniszewska, TRC expert and Vice-Rector for International Relations.

Over 900 alumni of the “Internationalisation of Higher Education” programme

In April 2023 the 11th edition of the training “Internationalization of Higher Education” will take place. The programme is organized by Collegium Civitas in cooperation with the Center for Polish Education in Kiev. Since 2018 over 900 faculty members from Ukrainian universities have already participated in the programme.

Why do we help? Because it is necessary

Students from Collegium Civitas conducted a survey after the Russian invasion on Ukraine in 2022. They asked respondents why Poles are helping Ukrainians and the answer was: “Because it was necessary”. Malgorzata Latecka, a Collegium Civitas student, shared her opinion in the Washington Post.
