Statement of the Rector of Collegium Civitas as of 30 July 2020 on the implementation of teaching activities in the new academic year 2020/2021

In July 2020 Collegium Civitas and University of Economics and Business - Vietnam National University signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Academic and Research Collaboration. The MoU paves the way to joint initiatives such as double degree program, trainings and research collaboration.

Following the signature of the Memorandum of Understanding between Collegium Civitas and the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) in June 2020, the two partners are pleased to present the first results of this newly established collaboration – the 2020 edition of the annual Security and Society Summer School program.

Social Media Management & Digital Commerce program offers students 14 courses essential to successfully working in today’s Marketing, Communications, Web and Mobile Technology arenas. Dr. Rafał Trzaskowski, Collegium Civitas lecturer since 2002, entered the second round of the presidential elections in Poland. The current Mayor of Warsaw received - according to exit polls -  30,4% and if this result will be confirmed in the official statement by the Polish Electoral Commission he will face the incumbent President Andrzej Duda in the second round of presidential elections on July 12, 2020. Congratulations!

Collegium Civitas is the first Polish university to sign a Memorandum of Understanding with the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR). The MoU outlines the scope of prospective collaboration that includes: training and degree programs in thematic fields such as sustainable development, international security and the rule of law.
