Collegium Civitas consistently undertakes actions for sustainable development, through research, strategic partnerships and various educational initiatives. As an academic community, we see the challenges of the future related not only to climate change, but also to other sustainable development goals set by the United Nations.

The academic year has officially started, and we won’t let coronavirus and the online mode of teaching spoil student’s life! Our university has created the Buddy Program to support new international students in their transition to our Collegium Civitas family. Each fresher can get a CC friend (buddy), which provides the friendly face, helping hand, and such first friendship that can make a world of difference for new arrivals.

We are pleased to announce that during today's meeting of the Conference of Rectors of Non-Public Academic Universities (KRAUN), Professor Stanisław Mocek was unanimously elected as the new chairman of KRAUN. Our sincere congratulations!

To ensure the entire Collegium Civitas community of students, teaching and research staff, and administrative employees is healthy and safe, the Rector of Collegium Civitas, considering the current, still very serious, pandemic situation in Poland and other countries, has decided to conduct all classes for bachelor and master's degree students online in the winter semester based on the statutory right to university autonomy and the principles for ensuring security.

Starting March 26, classes at Collegium Civitas were held exclusively online. We are also fully prepared to offer classroom, online and hybrid education in the new academic year. As one of the first higher education institutions in Poland, we are already leaning toward conducting online classes also in the first semester of the coming year out of concern for the health of our students and employees

Following the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between Collegium Civitas and the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) in June 2020, the two partners joined forces to deliver the 2020 edition of the annual Security and Society Summer School program.

“Can the current situation help us develop international partnerships? The experiences of Collegium Civitas show that it can. Internationalisation reinvented, known as Internationalisation 3.0, is flexible and hybrid and optimises adaptation to the needs of different audiences and the use of HEI resources.” – writes Dr Katarzyna Maniszewska, Vice-Rector for International Relations at our university.
