Sport and Policy Journal (SPJ) is co-published by Civitas University and Adam Marszałek Publishing House in cooperation with the Center for Eastern and African Studies.
The journal is supported by Beijing Sport University, the Polish Institute for Sports Diplomacy, and the Institute for Sport Governance.

The editorial mission of Sport and Policy Journal is to create a platform for the exchange of scholarly ideas within the broadly understood fields of the humanities and social sciences — including political science and public administration, physical culture studies, security studies, history, management, sociology, communication, law, and international relations.

The journal has an interdisciplinary profile, with sport serving as a common ground for analysis and interpretation from diverse theoretical and practical perspectives.

Its international Scientific Council and Editorial Board, comprising scholars from China, Ireland, Qatar, Germany, Poland, Portugal, Singapore, and the United Kingdom, ensure the high academic quality of published work.

Sport and Policy Journal accepts submissions in both Polish and English, upholding the highest publishing standards and providing open access to all content under the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) license. The Editorial Board is committed to achieving indexation in leading international databases such as Scopus and Web of Science in the near future.


Civitas University is represented in the Editorial Team by Prof. Michał Szostak, Deputy Editor-in-Chief, and Piotr Rutkowski, M.A., Editorial Secretary.
