THE PIASA 9TH WORLD CONGRESS ON POLISH STUDIES IN WARSAW

From June 7-9, Collegium Civitas in Warsaw hosted the PIASA 9th World Congress on Polish Studies, co-organized by the Polish Institute of Arts and Sciences of America (PIASA) and Collegium Civitas. Over 200 participants from the USA, Europe, and Asia – scholars from various disciplines – participated in more than 50 thematic panels. The conference was held under the honorary patronage of the Minister of Science and Higher Education, Dariusz Wieczorek.

On June 14, 2024, two significant academic events of Collegium Civitas took place at the Dom Polonii in Warsaw – the Graduation Ceremony and the 2023/2024 Academic Year Closing Ceremony. We wish all graduates of Collegium Civitas the best of luck as they leave the university ready to face new personal and professional challenges. We also wish  our students success in the examination session.

PHILIPPINE PUBLIC SAFETY COLLEGE DELEGATION VISITS COLLEGIUM CIVITAS

On Monday, June 17, Collegium Civitas hosted the opening session of the visit by a delegation from the Philippine Public Safety College (PPSC). The plenary session on Monday was attended by the Ambassador of the Republic of the Philippines to Poland, Her Excellency Leah B. Ruiz, and the Secretary of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Prof. Władysław Teofil Bartoszewski.

We are pleased to announce that on June 10, 2024, during the report and election meeting of the Conference of Rectors of Academic Non-Public Universities (KRAUN), Prof. Stanisław Mocek, Rector of Collegium Civitas, was unanimously re-elected as Chair of KRAUN for the 2024-2028 term.

Collegium Civitas is proud to announce the establishment of its new unit, the Centre for Disinformation Research. Under the leadership of Grzegorz Rzeczkowski, the Centre will focus on researching disinformation, particularly within social media, and educating the public about the associated risks.

From June 7 to 9, 2024, Collegium Civitas hosts the PIASA 9th World Congress on Polish Studies, organized by the Polish Institute of Arts and Sciences (PIASA) in New York and our university. The event, under the honorary patronage of Minister of Science Dariusz Wieczorek, brings together eminent scholars from around the globe to explore the theme "Poland in the World."

From May 1st to 7th, Professor Małgorzata Baran, Head of the Management Department at Collegium Civitas, had the honor of visiting the University of Mataram in Indonesia under the auspices of the Erasmus+ Teaching Mobility program. Her visit was hosted by Dr. Ihsan Ro’is, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, and Dr. Diswandi, Vice Dean for Academic Affairs.
