Meeting with an academic delegation from Marmara University

On November 22 Collegium Civitas hosted a delegation of academics representing Marmara University (Marmara Üniversitesi), Istanbul, Türkiye. The meeting was an opportunity to strengthen academic cooperation and relations in regard to the field of teaching and research as well as student and faculty exchange under the Erasmus+ programme.

In 1977 the General Assembly called for the annual observation of November 29 as the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People. To commemorate the Solidarity Day the Center for Research on Social and Economic Risks, in cooperation with the Embassy of the State of Palestine in Poland, organized a panel discussion attended by Ambassador Dr. Amal Jadou, Deputy Minister of MFA Palestine, and the Palestinian Ambassador to Poland, Dr. Mahmoud Khalifa.

Incident in Przewodów

Following the incident in the Polish village of Przewodów near the border with Ukraine please be assured that Collegium Civitas authorities are monitoring the situation closely. We express our sincerest condolences to the families of the victims – two Polish citizens.  We are following the official statements and we are waiting for the results of the investigation. However, the experts assess (incl. security experts from our university) it was a tragic incident not an attack. Furthermore, the international reaction to the incident showed how strong Polish alliance is with NATO and the EU.

On November 5-6 the Fair of Polish universities took place in London, in the Polish Social and Cultural Association POSK. The event was organized by the National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) in cooperation with the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in London.
