Working in agreement with the Collegium Civitas Student Council, we decided that the allocation of the Aid Fund earmarked for the student community would be determined by the Ukrainian students themselves towards a project or projects of their choice.

On December 19th-22nd Dr Dr Roland Zarzycki visited Bursa Uludağ Üniversitesi in Bursa within the Erasmus + Staff Mobility framework. During his visit, Dr Dr Zarzycki run a number of classes for Bachelor and Master students of Bursa Uludağ Üniversitesi, including a lecture on the sociology of ideology.

The Winter School “Transforming 21st Century Conflicts” offers a full week of intensive online learning, focused on the issue of promoting secure and inclusive societies through the adoption of innovative perspectives and tools. The project is organized by the University of Padua (Collegium Civitas is one of the partner universities) within the framework of “Shaping a World-Class University”.

In October 2022 Dr Monika Nowicka visited Jan Amos Komensky University in Prague. The visit was a teaching mobility under the EU-funded Erasmus+ programme. Dr Nowicka gave a series of lectures on migration issues in contemporary Poland

Dr Dr Roland Zarzycki, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs visited Abat Oliba CEU University in Barcelona within the Erasmus + Teaching Mobility framework. During his visit Dr Dr Zarzycki conducted lectures including a short introduction to critical thinking as well as a workshop in sociology of identity. Also, a seminar on managing HEI was run by Dr Dr Zarzycki and attended by Abat Oliba staff members.

On November 22 Collegium Civitas hosted a delegation of academics representing Marmara University (Marmara Üniversitesi), Istanbul, Türkiye. The meeting was an opportunity to strengthen academic cooperation and relations in regard to the field of teaching and research as well as student and faculty exchange under the Erasmus+ programme.

In November 2022 Dr Wioletta Małota, Head of the International Business programme, Collegium Civitas visited ILERI University in Lyon under the EU funded Erasmus+ programme. Dr Małota was involved in numerous teaching activities at ILERI.

Collegium Civitas joined the Coalition for Advancing Research Assessment (CoARA), an initiative of the European University Association (EUA). Dr Katarzyna Iwińska, Vice-Rector for Scientific Research will be representing our university during the Constitutive Assembly of CoARA early December.
