On November 13, Collegium Civitas hosted a distinguished lecture by H.E. Ma. Theresa P. Lazaro, Undersecretary for Bilateral Relations and ASEAN Affairs, Department of Foreign Affairs, Republic of the Philippines. The event was opened by Prof. Stanisław Mocek, Rector of Collegium Civitas, who warmly welcomed the guests, and was conducted by Dr. Katarzyna Maniszewska, Vice-Rector for International Relations.

In November 2024, Dr. Paweł Kuczyński visited Pablo de Olavide University in Seville as part of the Erasmus+ teaching mobility program. During the visit, he delivered lectures on radicalization and the role of the internet as well as radicalization trends in Poland. The sessions were attended by students of anthropology, psychology, and public affairs.

Dr. Wioletta Małota recently completed a teaching visit at Universidad Complutense de Madrid as part of the Erasmus+ program. During her stay, she conducted two courses on organizational management and innovation, engaging an international group of students and strengthening academic collaboration between Collegium Civitas and one of Spain’s leading universities.

Dr. Przemysław Witkowski’s book, "Faszyzm, który nadchodzi" (The Upcoming Fascism), featuring insights from renowned international and Polish experts on fascism, has just been released in English. This thought-provoking work examines the early warning signs of fascism, exploring the complex social, cultural, and psychological factors that contribute to its rise.

On October 23, 2024, in Washington D.C., the Magna Charta Universitatum (MCU) held its annual symposium titled "Universities, Governments, and Democracy: International Challenges and Lessons Learned." The MCU is a document that outlines principles of academic freedom and institutional autonomy. Collegium Civitas, a signatory of the MCU, was represented at the symposium by the Vice-Rector for International Relations, Dr. Katarzyna Maniszewska.

The Collegium Civitas Institute for Management Research is launching a new research project for the 2024/2025 academic year, led by Professor Michał Szostak. The project, titled "Aesthetics of Humanistic Management in the Artificial Intelligence Era," will explore the ethical and aesthetic implications of AI in organizational settings.

A recent study co-authored by Dr. Katarzyna Iwińska explores the role of higher education institutions in promoting pro-environmental behavior. The research provides key insights into current trends and the strategic actions needed to foster sustainable development in academia.

On September 24th-29th Dr. Dr. Roland Zarzycki visited Vietnam National University in Hanoi within the Erasmus+ Staff Mobility framework. The Vietnam National University was founded in the year 1945, replacing the University of Indochina (1906), and today is one of the leading and most prestigious universities in Vietnam.
