In August 2023 Dr. Paweł Maranowski, Vice-Rector for Student Affairs, visited the University of Mataram, Lombok, Indonesia. He held a series of lectures and participated in a public seminar open for all students on intercultural communication as well as conducted sociological research in cooperation with colleagues at the University of Mataram.  

On August 29, 2023, Collegium Civitas hosted a delegation from Universitas Indonesia. The meeting was an opportunity to talk about potential cooperation in the field of teaching and research as well as student and faculty exchange. 

Our “Last minute” promotion is aimed at candidates who are starting their full or part-time English-language Bachelor’s (licencjat) or Master’s (magister) programmes at Collegium Civitas in the 2023/2024 academic year!

In August 2023 Collegium Civitas signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Jenderal Achmad Yani University (UNJANI) – one of the leading Indonesian military universities. “Collegium Civitas is known for its strong focus on security issues. The partnership with UNJANI was a natural path for us to follow”. – says Dr. Katarzyna Maniszewska, Vice-Rector for International Relations.

In August 2023, the International Seminar “Communication, Diversity, and its Trivial: A Dialogue among Poland, Malaysia, and Indonesia” was organized by University Al Azhar (UAI) in Jakarta with the participation of guest lecturers from Collegium Civitas (CC) and Universiti Teknologi Mara Malaysia (UiTM).

Between June and August the ninth edition of the Summer School “Security and Society in the Information Age” was held at Collegium Civitas. This year our university hosted 22 students from U.S. universities. The program combined the four-week intensive course on Central Europe & Security Issues with a two-week research internship with the Terrorism Research Center. Designed and launched jointly in 2015 by SRAS (USA) and Collegium Civitas, the summer school program addresses global issues from unique perspectives.

The admission for the winter semester 2023/2024 to our study programmes in English is open. For international candidates, the admissions deadline is September 1, 2023. Study at Collegium Civitas and experience the highest quality of teaching in a multicultural learning community.

Mr. Nathaniel England, a graduate of International Security Studies and at present lecturer at Collegium Civitas, and Mr. Erol Dzhelik, International Security Studies student are among the contributors to “Poland Weekly” - a weekly newspaper issued in Poland, in English.

The Polish Institute of Arts & Sciences of America invites proposals for its 9th World Congress to be held at Collegium Civitas in Warsaw, Poland, June 7-9, 2024. The deadline for proposals is February 1, 2024, though earlier submissions are welcome since capacity is limited. 

The paper “Beyond the Reality Principle: On the Political Role of Imagination in Herbert Marcuse’s Libidinal Economy” by Dr. Barbara Markowska-Marczak was published by the journal “Analizy i Egzystencja".
