Przemysław Witkowski, PHD
Poet, journalist and publicist; two-time holder of the scholarship of Ministry of National Education and Sport; graduate of international relations at the University of Wrocław; Doctor of Humanities in the field of political science; his poems have been translated into English, Czech, French, Serbian, Slovak, Hungarian and Ukrainian. Lecturer and researcher at Collegium Civitas
His academic specialization includes: radical political movements and groups, extreme-right political movements (neo-Nazism, neo-fascism, nationalism, monarchism, neopagan, integral traditionalism, Eurasianism, national Bolshevism) and their international contacts, extreme left-wing political movements, left-wing and right-wing terrorism, religious fundamentalism, racism, propaganda, ideology in pop culture, theories and practices of race, racism and colonization.
He lectured at the Institute of International Studies UWr, Gen. Tadeusz Kościuszko Academy of Land Forces, University of Lower Silesia in Wrocław, Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, Jagiellonian University in Kraków and University of Wroclaw.
An associate of many NGOs and institutions as an expert, editor and volunteer, including The offices of the Ombudsman, the Never Again Association, the Dialogue Forum, the Bęc Change Foundation, the Wielkopolska Tenants’ Association, the Nomada Society for Integration of Multicultural Society Association, the Polish-Israeli Hatikvah Association and others.
He participated in many international camps and summer schools in the field of intercultural education and human rights, organized, among others, by the Gedenkstätte und Museum Sachsenhausen, KZGedenkstätte Dachau and the Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum.
He is interested in horror movies. He has already seen several thousand of them. It says a lot about his teaching style 😉
