Dorota Kowalska is a Communications Specialist with over 15 years of experience working in international development and marketing for companies and organizations such as The World Bank Group, Washington, DC, Europe, and Central Asia, managing PR for 23 ECA countries.
She excels in crisis communications, strategic partnerships with key governments, civil society, NGOs, and academia, media relations, social media marketing, web and print content development, internal and external communication, and branding. She also acted as communications and PR strategist for the Bank’s regional Roma agenda and headed external affairs and communications for Poland and the Baltic States.
Dorota is a graduate of the University of the District of Columbia, Washington, DC, holding an MA in English Composition and Rhetoric. Additionally, she accomplished concentrated studies in public and media relations at the Johns Hopkins University’s Zanvyl Krieger School of Arts and Science in Washington, DC.
