Professors Gohar Avetisyan and Karine Sargsyan, from the European University of Armenia, visited Collegium Civitas from May 15th to 19th, 2023, as part of the Erasmus+ program. During their visit, the professors delivered a series of lectures, shedding light on problem-solving, decision-making in diplomatic processes, and effective leadership, all of which resonated with the audience.

American Councils for International Education together with Collegium Civitas and the Leadership Research Group of the American Studies Center of the University of Warsaw cordially invites you to lecture “Forecasting & Prediction – necessary skills for the 21st century leadership” led by Dr. Sam Potolicchio. The lecture will take place on June 16th, at 16:30, at Collegium Civitas (lecture hall A).

Head of the Management Department at Collegium Civitas, Professor Małgorzata Baran, a professor of economics that is specializing in management studies has written a paper “Work engagement and employee satisfaction in the practice of sustainable human resource management – based on the study of Polish employees”

The latest comments include: “To provide support for refugees with disabilities” by Dr Monika Nowicka who is the Head of the project “Undisabling the Refugee Flow. Increasing the Capacity of Polish and Romanian Stakeholders to Provide Support to Ukrainian Refugees with Disabilities in the Metropolitan Areas of Warsaw and Bucharest.”

Collegium Civitas has established the International Diamonds Scholarship Program for the studies in English. There are a total of six places with covered tuition for the first semester of studies 2023/2024 conducted in English at our university: three for bachelor’s degree programs and  three for master’s degree programs. International candidates interested in the scholarship should apply no later than by June 15.

Between 9 and 12 of May 2023, Collegium Civitas was visited by Prof. Le Trung Thanh, the Rector of VNU, University of Economics and Business, Vietnam. The visit was organized under the Erasmus+ programme.

In April, Collegium Civitas had the pleasure of hosting a group of sixty-six young Ukrainians participating in the Ukrainian Academy of Leadership program. This visit was part of their broader European journey, organized under the leadership of Katarzyna Anna Przybyła, Collegium Civitas lecturer in collaboration with the Ukrainian Leadership Academy, Romanian Peace Institute PATRIR, and Un Ponte Per, an Italian-based humanitarian organization.

Palgrave Macmillan has published a book “Conflict and Post-Conflict Governance in the Middle East and Africa,” which includes a chapter written by Dr Magdalena El Ghamari, Collegium Civitas lecturer specializing in the analyses of the relationship between socio-religious and political factors, as well as policymakers. Dr El Ghamari focuses her work on the field of peacekeeping and conflicts in the MENA region.
